Warning: Spoilers
Just watch the first three minutes before the opening credits, and you'll instantly understand why this was a failed pilot.

The acting is terrible, the writing is boring as hell; and mind you I'm no feminazi, but the way the two women leads were written was embarrassingly bad.

Written as some kind of humorous female buddy cop series, the ladies are portrayed as morons with stereotypes about women, the worst kind. I'm not kidding you -- at one point during a chase one of them climbs into a dumpster to get a tossed bag of drugs (that they were nowhere in sight to have seen it go in...) and she stops to pick up a women's magazine and fold it and take it with her. That bad. And that wasn't' the only instance.

I'm utterly flabbergasted that Stephen J. Cannell's name is attached this garbage. And I'm embarrassed to see Mike Post having scored it and co-written the theme song (which is also bad); especially considering Post was so highly in demand, there was no shortage of work during that time.

Do yourself a favor and don't watch this.
