Although the idea was good, directing was fine, and there were a few good actors, it's simply a bad movie.
It's way too long. Instead of 141 minutes, it would make much more sense to cut it to less than 100. It's too boring, it never ends, and I just wanted to go home and do anything else. But I could't, because I watched it on a bus. Which was terrifying.
And the story is terrible. It's not flowing, it doesn't make me want to know what will happen later in the movie. I also don't really care about the characters. Except the monkey. The monkey was cool.
Lots of random scenes, maybe one or two funny situations. Then there are a few heavy, thriller parts, that don't look like a part of the same movie. Some unnecessary drama.
Also, sometimes irritating music. Yes, violins are great, but that doesn't mean the audience wants to hear them every two minutes.
So, it's watchable, and visually is great. But too long, not believable, without real story.
