An Enjoyable, albeit very forgetful, Twenty Minutes,

Lisa with an "S" is a good Simpsons episode with a well written storyline and plenty of very funny scenes. It's enjoyable, I liked seeing Lisa joining the world of show business once again and learning about the many cons relating to it, Laney Fontaine was an interesting new character and I appreciated that they gave a fictional character the main role of the episode instead of just another guest star. My favourite moment of the episode would have to be the opening musical number, it had a nice catchy beat to it and it was well constructed. I felt the story was quite weak and never fully developed as well as it could have been, it could have gone further, it could have been a bit more frantic, but instead it just sort of flows by. The side story had much more potential than what it delivered, I loved the idea of Ned Flanders having an Amish cousin who viewed him as a sinner, and the character was very funny, but again, this story is never fully developed and we are left feeling underwhelmed by it all. It does have many good moments but it is also lacking in some vital areas, still however, Lisa with an "S" is an enjoyable Simpsons episode.

Homer and Marge make a major mistake when they loan Lisa to Broadway actress Laney Fontaine.
