In the "Animation" genre, what is the writer thinking when suggesting "kidnapping girls and locking them in the basement" as an activity theme for "pretend pirates" especially when this animation is presumably meant for Children?! Simply appalling and for so glad I was bored enough to press play before letting my Niece and Nephew watch this. Having absolutely no entertainment value even for adults makes this the absolute in-classifiable animated movie.
The flow of the story line is bumpy and animation is stiff. Although the animation style could be intentional, it seems artificial and more digestible as a school presentation. Ultimately, the idea that kidnapping girls and locking them up whilst using physical force is normal as "play pretend" for young boys is absolutely frightening.
