The title "Technological Threat" basically tells everybody what this one is about. It got writer and director Bill Kroyer his only Academy Award nomination. Maybe I should have written in the title "wolf" instead "man"? Or maybe "dog"? Not entirely sure what that creature is supposed to be. Anyway, looking at their actions, I personally found the robot much more human and likable. That's also why I did not like the ending at all. But I guess you can make a point for it being realistic as the bad guys usually win. So yeah, overall I am not impressed by these 5 minutes in terms of animation and story. Even if it lost to Pixar back over 25 years ago, the Oscar nomination may have been too much already. I do not recommend this little film. Thumbs down and this is a fairly forgettable watch from start to finish.
