Daredevil (2015–2018)
5/10
Season two is below par

Warning: Spoilers
I really liked the first season of Daredevil and would rate it 8/10. Season two though didn't meet expectations.

First of, I feel that the stunts performed by Daredevil in this season are inferior to those in season one. I suspect it's because of the new suit. You could see that the sequences got slower towards the end of season one, when Murdock gets the suit. Season one stunt sequences were faster and better choreographed when Murdock didn't have a superhero suit.

The new characters in this season aren't strong and there isn't much development.

**Spoilers**

There are no prominent strong villains in this season. The season starts out showing that there might be an army of shooters killing bad-guys, but that turns out to be the Punisher. The story then moves to where the two heroes debate (with punches) the age old super-hero dilemma: to kill or not to kill.

Just when there is some light on Punisher's background, the spotlight suddenly switches to Elektra. Who seems unnecessary. Here is a woman who gets turned on by violence (For example, when Matt was punching the guy who killed his father) and it's not at all clear why she is going after the so-called Yakuza. What's further unclear: why is Matt Murdock helping her, when he knows that she is manipulating him. He does that at the expense of ignoring his case-work.

The only character I liked in this season is Foggy. Go Foggy. Make your own show.
