This is a hidden gem.I'm surprised i've never heard of this movie before. In none of the interviews has Madhuri Dixit ever mentioned about this movie being her favorite and i'm surprised, as the performances by Nana Patekar and Madhuri are outstanding. The plot is very unusual but as an Indian you can relate to the fact that our society puts an immense pressure on education and securing a job thereafter. As parents we do not encourage our child to take up his/her passion and end up pushing him/her to achieving some "regular" job that the society can appreciate. Not all kids can become something what parents want them to be and these are the few who are severely impacted, its like a tug of war in their minds trying to follow passion on one side and being pulled by societal pressure on the other. Nana has two passions in his life ,Theater and Madhuri, and how in the end he pours his feelings out for the love of his life while enacting it in the form of a play, his other love. The way the ending scene was taken is something i've never seen on Indian cinema. This movie is a cinematic genius..Hats off to the person who conceived this thought!and to the actors for delivering stellar performances
