I just happened across a trailer for this movie, I had never heard of it before. it is one of the best westerns I have ever seen - right up there with the Unforgiven and the wild bunch. it is a blood and guts western - which I love. the very first blood and guts western was the wild bunch - which is my all time favorite western. this one has a different take being the main actor is a Danish solider just coming to America after being defeated by the Germans in 1864. it is a story of vengeance and the bad guys gets their due in the end. I don't know why I had never heard of this movie before but it is well worth the time to watch. you will not be disappointed at all. it reminds me in a way of High Plains Drifter but with a more modern blood and guts addition. tell you friends about it - it is a very good western.
