Review of McCoy

McCoy (1975–1976)
5/10
The floating fourth
22 September 2016
McCoy was a series that was part of that floating fourth for the NBC Mystery Movie with the stalwart three of McMillan&Wife, McCloud, and Columbo. NBC never could get a steady participant there.

McCoy was not a good fit for the slot because the other three series mentioned were about law enforcement officials, unusual ones to be sure, but people enforcing the law. McCoy was a conman, he conned rich suckers to be sure, but not because he was Robin Hood. He just had an expensive lifestyle and was a degenerate gambler.

Tony Curtis starred as McCoy. I think this might have made a nice feature film series. But it was an odd man out on television.
