It was just. HORRIBLE. God I wish I had never watched it. I know it's just based on the novel so it's not really supposed to come out as exactly the same but why the H did they not just do THAT? This movie is like it was made by a bunch of high school students with access to great equipment and professional cameramen. SERIOUSLY. The mysterious camera zooming in/out thing was good in the beginning, but why in the world would you be consistent with the movie looking like a 2-hour- long trailer? PLUS they didn't even SHOW the BEST THING about this novel, WHICH IS the inevitable chemistry of Lucinda and Daniel! That moment? In the novel? When Daniel told Luce whatever secret he had been hiding the whole time? Dude, that was ENCHANTING! And they didn't even at least just save THAT! I don't even know why they didn't slap in the "white peonies" thing which was a big "A" supposed-to-be scene for me and I don't think I want to know. If you watch it, be ready to watch the most emo-sh*t movie you'll ever watch.
