Not particularly thrilling

Warning: Spoilers
Interview with a Hit-man is a low budget British thriller with more than a nod to the Hit-man video game and subsequent film as well as THE BOURNE SUPREMACY. It stars straight-to-DVD star Luke Goss playing a former Romanian child who grew up to become a star hit-man and who arrives in UK ready to carry out his latest assignment. Things become complicated when he falls for his target.

I'm not sure why there are a wealth of positive reviews on this site because this is a very ordinary and uninteresting story. It's so low budget that there's hardly any action and those action bits that do occur are unconvincing. The story is full of dialogue which is softly-spoken and attempts to build character but it comes across as dull and just as uninteresting as the forays into action. Everything seems long-winded and unfocused and a reliably charming Goss can do nothing to carry the picture. It seems they gave up on this one before they even started.
