Jumped the Shark? Umm...
3 July 2017
Warning: Spoilers
...I think so!

I really enjoyed S1 - witty, fast pace, character development was nice to watch, and some entertaining episodes.

S2 the plot became very muddled, but I still found it to be an entertaining show.

S3...All over the place! Nothing flows, anymore. Is Emma's mom's brain the big plot now? If it is, I'm not intrigued, at all. Emma and Cameron's romance? Awkward and unnatural. Allison and Anna's relationship? Completely irrelevant to the show, is "filler", and a weird distraction (not because it's a gay relationship - every series has that, now. It's just so badly done!).

And that is the shark - every character is busy every episode, finding their happy endings! *Minimal* brain intruding time, now! It's supposed to be a sci fi show - that's why I watched it in the first place, not this soap opera nonsense!

I will give it one or two more episodes out of charity, then bail if this fast slide continues. I suspect this show's renewal is doomed.

I know I said I'd give it a couple more episodes before, but after watching episode 5 I can't cruelly put myself through another one. Pathetic, worst yet, sums S3E5 up. I'm gone. I've lowered my rating from four stars to two.
