RABID LOVE is a standard indie horror flick about a bunch of students finding themselves stranded in the woods with a killer. Attempts to set the film in the mid 1980s are never very convincing because it doesn't look of the era. This mostly reminded me of CABIN FEVER but without that film's gooey edge. The viewer must wade through miles of character building and relationship drama before the cast start dying, and even then the horror content is limited. The only good thing about this is that it's slightly more professional-looking than most indies.
