"Dämonenbrut" or "Insel der Dämonen 2" or "Demon Terror" is a German film from 2000, so this one will have its 20th anniversary soon. The writer and director is Andreas Bethmann and if you have seen any of his other films then you will know exactly what to expect here. Lots of sex, lots of violence, a really bad plot (if you can even call it that), and a whole lot "for the sake of it" material that never feels compelling or memorable at all. And of course bad acting and horrible production values too. This is really one of the film I would call amateurish and while it may indeed be amateur filmmaking, it is also definitely a description of the quality. Luckily there is a 90-minute director's cut out there and that's also the one I saw, so Bethmann has some mercy and does not require you to sit through a terrible film of over 2 hours. That would have been worse torture actually than some of the torture in this movie. the only reason it's not granted to be Bethmann's worst is because he has some other pretty weak stuff out and this one here is a sequel actually and the fact that such a low film is even more popular than the first really says nothing positive about the original. The cast includes several of Bethmann's regulars and the most known name is Katja Bienert, who is known for her softcore sex films from decades earlier. Seems like she managed the impossible to stoop on an even lower level quality-wise. Quite a pity, she really was a stunner back in the day. I guess that is all I want to say about this film. It is a horrible movie, just plain bad and also no so bad it's good trash film potential. I highly recommend to stay away.
