Routine spagwest with a trio of Western legends
22 November 2017
Warning: Spoilers
SEVEN HOURS OF GUNFIRE is an average spaghetti western that throws various different elements into the mix in a bid to make something stick. The approach is only semi-successful and indeed on watching this seems to be a half-hearted production. Sure, there are the larger-than-life characters and the action staples, but these elements are rather generic and it's the kind of film that it's easy to forget just moments after watching. Three legendary Western characters - Calamity Jane, Buffalo Bill, and Wild Bill Hickok - team up to battle bad guys, and the actors include MARK OF THE DEVIL's Adrian Hoven and genre staple Rik Van Nutter.
