A mega movie star of the 40's, 50's and 60's when she started a daily TV program "Almorzando With Mirtha Legrand" or "Lunching with Mirtha Legrand" The program is still going until almosts 50 years and Mirtha Legrand, well into her 90's hasn't changed very much at all. In this startling 1960 drama directed by Mirtha Legrand's husband, Daniel Tinayre, she plays a teacher who is gang raped by a trio of students. It is ferocious and the denouement makes it a document of its day - it kind of justifies the action of the gang members. I must see it again.
