Salyut-7 (2017)

Really interesting, but then...

Warning: Spoilers
FX, shots, acting and story are all really there. Could easily compete with any reality-like space-themed movies from Hollywood. I believe most people can really enjoy it as long as they accept that it is only dramatization, and some facts are way of the reality.

But wat really destroyed a lot of joy from the movie were last minute scenes that were simply ridiculous:

1. Shuttle send to retrieve Russian station? It was mentioned before, but I believed it is only representation of cold war paranoia, not the actual thing. Why would Americans want piece of space junk in first place? Why would they try to, even if station was dead it was still Soviet Union property? It is not like secret operations to retrieve sunken sub, that can be actually secret. In space everyone knows what is happening.

2. Station with dead docked Soyuz, without any additional engines, meant for doom in just 4 earth orbits... suddenly is saved after regaining power and ready for future missions.

So those last minute revelations completely ruined generally intact realism of the movie.
