Discreet Charm of the Porngeoisie.

Warning: Spoilers
Recently getting hold of two very rare Jean Gabin titles,I looked for fitting movies to double-bill each of them with. Finding her a tantalizing sight in Serviced with a Smile (1979-also reviewed) ,I decided to match each Gabin film, with another eyeful of Brigitte Lahaie.

View on the film:

Slyly getting the viewer to drop their guard, director Gérard Kikoïne gives the opening ten minutes a classy Erotica look, with everyone in decadent clothes and surroundings.

Once he gets all of them inside the house,Kikoïne puts any attempt at a sensual mood in the bin,to instead go for gloriously full-on,pure filth! Whilst they all take part in,some unusual acts (I hope cast & crew washed the veg before lunch!) Kikoïne gives the sex scenes a relaxed, blissful atmosphere, where the ladies are as eager as the guys.

Whilst the script is left un-credited,the writers does give the flick a satirical bite, in the bourgeoisie degrading their regal image. Caught up in all of the action taking place in her house, Brigitte Lahaie gives an enticing performance as the Baroness, whose enthusiasm Lahaie has shine during the education.
