Fluff and nonsense

Warning: Spoilers
Some of the actors had good likenesses (the Queen wasn't even close and the guy who played Harry had too narrow a face). The story itself seems to have been written by someone idealistic who knows little about the royal family. For one thing, there's no reason whatsoever that the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall (Charles and Camilla) would be at Pippa Middleton's wedding, much less Princess Michael of Kent (the woman wearing the "Blackamore" brooch). Aside from the fact that Prince William is married to Catherine, no one in the royal family is related to the Middleton's, so why would they be at her sister's wedding?

And Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz's African heritage was at least nine generations in her past with a lot of Latin (mainly Portuguese) and German ancestors in between. I'm not doubting that she had African heritage, but it was so far removed that to make so much of it and suggest that Her Majesty would have accepted Ms. Markle marrying into her family because of her fourth great-grandmother's distant heritage is really overstating things. The Queen is far more tolerant than people give her credit for. She reigns over a Commonwealth with several Heads of State of colour and treats them all with respect and dignity. She doesn't talk down to anyone and I know that personally from meeting her during a walk about over 30 yrs ago.
