This is a Class-A intentional schlock movie that wins on every level but one. To mention that first:
Some unnecessary gratuitous boobage in a shower scene. Unnecessary for the scene, inconsistent with the rest of the movie, and actually distracts from the legitimately funny aspects of that scene. That one scene alone is why I rate this 4 stars rather than higher. Simply a very poor directing decision that detracts from the movie overall and derailed what otherwise would have been prime schlock.
Now for the good parts: total nonsense, ridiculous script, completely ludicrous ending, terrible dialog, hammy acting... all of it intentional and spot-on. No, this isn't the funniest or best of its kind ever made, but for pure schlock it ranks right up there with "Deadly Killer Tomatoes" (which BTW, did not find it necessary to have a gratuitous shower scene).
Probably one of the better of such movies ever made, but to be totally honest, strictly a rainy-Saturday flick. This is pure schlock with no redeeming factors other than it's intended as pure schlock with no redeeming factors. If not for the one scene of nudity I'd recommend it as fun family absurdity time. As it is, a bit of judicious editing would have made this a far better flick.
