Hilarious, If You Are A Jackass Fan

Warning: Spoilers
I saw "Action Point", starring Johnny Knoxville-Elvis & Nixon, Bad Grandpa; Eleanor Worthington_Cox-Britannia_tv, Maleficent and Dan Bakkedahl-Life in Pieces_tv, Veep_tv. If you have ever seen the tv show Jackass, then you have a good idea about the plot here. The movie is mostly stunts that are haphazardly performed by Johnny and company-mostly Johnny. FYI: He does his own stunts and usually ends up in the hospital for his efforts. They are fun to watch at times, but it does get a little predictable, too-I'm guessing that Johnny was a big fan of the Three Stooges when he was growing up. Anyway, the movie is loosely based on a real amusement park in New Jersey that was running from 1979 until it shut down in 1996-at least 6 people were reported to have died in incidents-and it reopened under a new name & new management later, to avoid being associated with the original park. Johnny plays the owner of said death trap...I mean amusement park. He runs it like it's the old wild west, with no rules and anything goes. He is also seen walking around his park drinking beer a lot while he is thinking of new ways to improve his rides-it usually involves speeding them up or taking off safety factors. Eleanor plays his 14 year old daughter that comes to visit him during the summer. Dan plays a real estate mogul trying to purchase the land out from under Johnny. If you like watching these kinds of stunts, then this is the movie for you. There are some out takes during the end credits and if you stay after the credits, there is another quick scene involving bears-one is a real bear and one is a man in a bear suit. It's rated "R" for language, drug use, teen drinking and sexual content-including nudity-and has a running time of 1 hour & 25 minutes. It's not one that I would buy on DVD but if you are a fan, you might enjoy it more than I did. Otherwise, I would wait until it comes to cable.
