I don't usually start like this, but...
Come on guys, to all of you that thought this was a crummy movie, all I can say is...I loved it for several reasons.
First off, it held tightly to the original 1950's movie concept, a mutated lizard from all the atomic bomb tests...
Two, the movie let Godzilla be what he was, a frightening BIIG lizard, terrorizing New York City this time...
And three, they inserted some fun, sometimes clever, humor into this outing, heh heh...
Yes, it was fun watching this movie...not because of the humor involved, but because the movie actually has a soul, if you watch it closely...
And yes, everytime I see this one, I remember that cute little Chiuahua in the Taco Bell commercials, going "Heere Zilli Zilla"...
