Demons (1985)

This is a cult favorite of mine

A seemingly random group of people are awarded free tickets to a movie showing. Once in the theater, and the supernatural horror film begins playing, a few audience members turn into drooling, orange-eyed killers, sprouting sharp claws and jagged teeth. Anyone who gets scratched or nibbled on and lives turns into a creature themselves. The survivors also learn that they are trapped inside the building, so it becomes a matter of surviving long enough to find an escape. This is filled with outrageous splatter effects, very little story or character development, dubious English dubbing, and a totally forgettable cast. The sound track is composed of score work by Claudio Simonetti (of Goblin) as well as numerous hard rock and new wave songs by artists such as AC/DC, Billy Idol, Motley Crue, Saxon, etc. Produced by Dario Argento (and featuring one of his daughters in the cast) and directed by Lamberto Bava. A sequel followed, and every few years someone threatens to do a remake.
