Note to Producers: You always get what you pay for

Warning: Spoilers
It really should be better with the contributions of two of Eurotrash's most insane persons of interest, but its not. Why? One word. Eurocine.

Why have i got the idea that the French take pride in making films with no money? This company probably has a lot do with that. You couldn't have made an interesting film with Eurocine even if you tried. I have watched too much of their output and it's all been meandering crap and this is no exception.

I am fully convinced that the minimal WTF value of this piece goes solely to Franco and Bianchi + their regulars. Eurocine just wanted to cash in on the 80's action craze using a pittance and these two f'ing guys gave us something that could be considered even remotely watchable.

I just cannot get over how light this film feels despite achieving the olympian feat that was jumping over it's plot holes, sprinting between tones with equal measured nuance and brute force as well as deadlifting thousands of lbs of useless yet bafflingly engaging character dimension.

Did i get what i want? God, i don't know. Another case of the kindest thing being able to say about a movie is that it exists in an impoverished world of it's own.
