Not an easy watch, but that's what Kashyap wanted.

To start with, I loved this movie, and I was expecting a lot, a lot more after the spectacular Mukkabaaz. Also, after watching it, I'm happy the earlier cut of this movie which started Ayushman and Bhoomi was shelved by the producer. This story deserved Anurag Kashyap's Vision and Vicky Kaushal's and Taapsee Pannu's brilliance. But I'll start with negatives. Which are few. To begin with, it's repetitive. Damn repetitive. Few of the scenes felt exhausting because they kind of repeated the whole thing again to make a point. And Symbolism. I loved the idea of the twins as a sign of duality. But it started coming every now and then after a point of time.

But the positives are way more. To start with, the cast, the acting is beyond words. Vicky Kaushal is a blessing for Bollywood. Abhishek Bachchan underplays but that's what the character required. The music is on point and never hinders the narration. Both the halves indulge you into the narrative. The dialogues are beautiful.
