One of our favorite cast members of Charlie's Angels returns as a peppy suburban Mom with a knack for sleuthing. Everyone reports to Mr. Melrose at a lead federal agency (no spoilers). We love Kate Jackson and Bruce Boxleitner as well as the rest of the amazing leading cast; the impressive array of cameo/guest stars are also all classic actors from the 70s and 80s.
This series is one of our family's favorites and we all have find memories of watching the latest episodes every Monday after dinner. The romantic plot line (no spoilers) is really wholesome and shows that these things happen over time and not just within a 1-hour time frame as many shows today seem to indicate. The international intrigue plot line (no spoilers) was always very captivating from start to finish. The costumes, cars and old tech on all the sets has the multi-generation viewership at our place commenting non-stop (and usually rewinding to actually watch the show properly, lol). All in all a very moving series suitable for everyone in the house.
We just got the full set of DVDs from Barnes & Noble to watch with relatives over the Thanksgiving holidays. Wish there were more programs like this one today.
