This is a childish attempt to tackle a serious social issue. The dialog is beyond silly and the acting is at the level of high school drama club. The script is confusing and very stereotyped. Although an old movie that deals with an era of phobia and ignorance surrounding AIDS, it's been recently picked up by a streaming service and passed off as "new". It will really only have limited, not global appeal, due to the poor level of writing and production.
