As usual, reviewers put too much emphasis and comparisons to many flicks. Wasn't the best nor the worst of this series. Thought the messages were best part of movie and will confess the movie theater was rolling with laughter that I thought was sometimes mildly amusing; so I blame it on my sense of humor.
Believe the ratings were way too low but I'm not going to inflate my score to adjust. It was above average and I'm a average fan of the Madea series. My family loved it and obviously attendees in theater when we went enjoyed themselves so give it a shot, you might come away pleased.
