I loved both Vampire Diaries and the Originals and was gutted when they both ended so when I heard of this spin off I was excited!
Minus a few dodgy episodes I have found this first season a good building ground for future seasons great climax to the season left me looking forward to season 2. Hopefully in season 2 it can mature storyline wise and reach its potential. It is still better than many shows just not as good as the Originals but given time maybe.
