Loved it so much watched it three times

Starts out so funny and ongoing humour between husband and wife is a bonus. It is written by Agatha Christie and is typically her style and genre and the setting which gives the story a nice English period feeling. Tommy and Tuppence have adventures as a pair of amateur sleuths albeit dangerous ones at times. Tuppence is the bored housewife at a time when women had few choices and Tommy is the bungling husband following his clever wife making for a nice combination of brains and brawn. It is very English and this might put a few viewers off and explain some poor reviews but I like this style. Many American series that attempt this kind of series is too gauche for me as I prefer the way the English do it. It is exciting enough in places but also slows at times which balances the plot. Tuppence wears nice outfits and is very pretty and looks tiny beside Tommy who looks handsome in his suits and the backdrop is typical of these British sleuth shows. The supporting cast is good as well. I guess it is down to what you like and what your expectations are but this is a fun, light sleuthing adventure with two likeable characters and I loved it enough to watch it three times. The first time was the best with all the surprises and fun.
