Review of Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

For me, "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home" hasn't aged very well. When I saw it in the theaters (Sunrise Multiplex, Valley Stream, NY) it was my favorite Star Trek movie. Now I put it towards the bottom of the original cast films. It's not the cast's fault. They are great, mostly (Walter Koenig seems to be a bit over his head). It's the story. There are a lot of laugh out loud moments but, at the end of the day, it's just kind of silly. "Star Trek IV" is not a bad movie. Far from it. It's just not my favorite anymore. Honorable mention: a dreamy Catherine Hicks.
