"00 Schneider - Jagd auf Nihil Baxter" tells the story of an officer who has to solve a crime case in which an excentric art fan seems to be heavily involved.

I'll be quite honest with you, for me personally it was a waste of time. People (especially Helge Schneider fans) might tell me it's a masterpiece and highly philosophical and I'm willing ro accept this but I don't share their opinion. I'm a huge fan of absurde humor and strange things but this film just isn't funny and the humor of something is nothing that you can dictate through some powerpoints at universities. I get some of the principles of the film and some exaggerations are even funny but in the end you can barely speak of a plot and large portions of the movie feel like watching a blurred screen for you can not tell what actually happens. Maybe I'm not intelligent or philosophical enough but while you can strongly argue if something is boring or stupid I'm confident to say it's not funny and if it's meant to be philosophical then way too much so to make for a decent film.

All in all I wouldn't recommend anyone to watch the film and to be frankly honest I find it a rather elitist and arrogant move to call anyone that dislikes a certain thing too stupid or uneducated to get it.
