I gave the Movie an extra high rating because it is based on a true story and has scenes that take place IRL in a store in Nelson, BC, Called Holy Smoke Culture Shop that I was part owner of back in the day. The movie stays pretty true to the actual facts as I understand them. The origiinal story appeared in Rolling Stone Magazine. Even tho the shop in the movie is shot at a real pot shop in Victoria run by real-life activist Ted Smith it captures the feel of Holy Smoke just the same. I enjoyed the movie overall.
