I enjoyed this movie a lot. Yes it is quite slow and not meant to "entertain". It's not that kind of movie. It is an honest look into the soul of comedian Gregg Turkington and it gave (at least to me) some deeper appreciation about what his Neil Hamburger character is about. I suspect you might need to have some knowledge of Greggs art before going into this movie. A fan movie for sure but a really good one. I loved it.
