Call this episode "More Than One Assassin"
29 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Hey, gang, I just got through watching this episode and I mean to tell you that this new season is off to a good roaring start. After a mobster named Billy Sato is whacked during an opera performance, Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams find out that a former Army Ranger named Tom Kendall did the deed--but not by themselves. That information comes courtesy of Sergeant Quinn Liu of the Army's Criminal Investigation Department. It turns out that another Army Ranger is on the loose. It also turns out that the two assassins are working on behalf of a fellow (played by Rob Morrow) who was in hock to a loan shark after taking a bath in a real estate deal that went belly up. We also find out what happened to Jerry (played by Jorge Garcia) after he was shot by a Muslim woman from last season. He survived, and announced his intention of quitting the Five-O task force so he can write a book about the Federal Reserve' connection to the sinking of the RMS Titanic way back in 1912. Quinn Liu joins the task force. She'll give Steve McGarrett a run for his money and should be good for him. He'll quit dating bimbo divorcees named Brooke and dump Catherine Rollins like last week's breakfast garbage. This episode ended with an intruder breaking into McGarrett's basement and stashing a bomb into his toolbox. And Danny Williams is still getting his bromance on, and jerking Steve McGarrett's chain. This season is off to a good start. Hope it doesn't go off the rails. That's all I ask.
