Review of Christmas on My Mind

This is written to the author of the book this movie is made from. I tried to send it to her on her site but it wouldn't go through. It can serve as a review of the movie as well: Ms Hunter, I have to implore you - please stop letting Hallmark ruin your books! The constant out of place background music. The story lines being ruined. I don't remember this book taking place at Christmas time. And your books are so wonderful and romantic but this just makes the deep storylines too light hearted. There was so much emotion in the book and that does not translate here. A December Bride was better. Still not great but better. And don't get me started on The Convenient Groom. That was one of my favorites of yours and that movie just pulverized it. Terrible actors not to mention the storyline wasn't even the same! I loved the idea of my favorite books coming to life but I am going to have to stop watching them before all my favorites are ruined forever! I hope that wasn't too harsh but I just wanted to convey how disappointed I am. I hope that is enough of a review for this movie even though it is directed at the author of the original book.
