This is not one of the better Candace Hallmark Christmas movies. She is a great actress but this movie didn't click for me. I agree with the other reviewers regarding the misinformation related to the adoption process. It takes months, if not over a year, for an adoption to go through. I do want to respond to previous reviewers who have taken issue with the letters from her dad. Her father knew that he was dying, so before his passing, he wrote a series of letters to "future Candace" for her special birthdays. In the movie, Candace actually mentions how her father had the letters "delivered" throughout the years.
