Every time I watch this I cringe. Watching Amanda Tapping acting as a buck-toothed, goggle-eyed goofy nerd isn't funny, it's painful. Daniel's dweeb routine is more bearable, but not only have we seen it before, it wasn't as extreme. So, yeah, easier to deal with. (A little) Jack as sloppy curmudgeon made perfect sense, but not much else did. I dont know, the goofiness just wasn't funny. It didn't ring true, even for "alternate" versions of these characters. Out of all the entire series, this is my least favorite episode.
