It emphasizes the therapeutic and healing power of music, with many uplifting songs. Many of the characters are portrayed by people who have real disabilities, and much of the story is based on true events. The movie also deals with bullying issues. Overall, it shows that with love, compassion, support, determination, and perseverance, many obstacles can be overcome. A truly inspiring and worthwhile movie.
