Not worthy of the hype, but still fun to watch.
the props and special effects were just bad. even bad for an 80s slasher flick.
Acting was ok. the story not a bad start, but characters did some ridiculous stuff.
characters had several oopportunities to kill the monster but instead chose to just injury him and then flee.
one character gas a firearm, great, right? wrong. she allows 2 characters to be butchered right in front of her, and doesn't shoot till they are dead and she decides to run. she managed to score a center mass hit which would lead you to believe that she has some training under her belt and is proficient. wrong. in a later scene she gets all "ghetto" in her handling. plus i dont think she had more than 4-5 rounds for some reason.
still a fun watch, similar to 80s slasher style.
almost forgot, whens the last time you seen a girl carry a zippo lighter? never. this is a dude thing. Would've been easy fix in the script.
the final scene, although impossible, was stolen directly from an early Friday the 13th. youll see.
