There is just so much wrong with this movie... If I weren't Croatian, I would still think this was an utter waste of my time! I started watching it and it was so bad I stopped, but decided to watch it after a few days because the main character was suposed to be Croatian... however, this has nothing to do with Croatia! First of all, Mas(h)a is commonly Slovenian name. Her last name I can't even place, but it doesn't sound remotely Croatian. Her family doesn't speak Croatian and none of them look Croatian! The music at the wedding has nothing to do with my country, and especially with music that is typically played at weddings... To sum up, this is an offense to stupid rom-coms being the bad movie that it is, but it is an even bigger offense to Croatians and all the other South Slavic countries considering it mixes all of our traditions trying to pass them as Croatian, but also mixing God knows whose traditions into this terrible mashup.
