Review of True Grit

True Grit (1969)

Remembering my Dad

Saw this movie years ago w my father who always made me watch westerns and saw the remake on my own. So a while back so it was on Netflix and decided to rewatch it. Compared to other westerns is pretty straight forward. Man killed, daughter seeks justice, hires a marshal to find them, journey begins and they run into some adventures. Clean cut, protagonists/antagonist and of course the protagonist has a backstory which is interesting to say the least.

It's a good movie, made in the late 60s and has a heck of a cast, Robert Duvall, Dennis Hopper, Glen Campbell and John Wayne

It's worth the time to see what "action" movies were like back in the day.
