Warning: Spoilers
A short look at a Hassidic community in Brooklyn, mostly through the lenses of three different people who have left the community. A common theme of ostracisim emerges, in addition to some explicit abuse. There is some effort made to hear from those in the community, though this largely behind-the-scenes and the overall feel is largely condemnatory. Of course, that is warranted considering the stories of those who have left. It would have been good to also hear from more who actively take part in and believe in the lifestyle. But perhaps I'm asking too much of a single documentary. Nonetheless, I would recommend.
