Death Uncensored

Warning: Spoilers
Traces of Death delivers what it promised to its viewers: raw footage of autopsies, murder scene investigations and purely mad disasters by speed maniacs (among some other things).

Is it cruel? Sure it is, but you knew that from the beginning. If they prepare a fish for you, you know it has been killed: you cannot eat the fish and act like you don't know you are eating something which had to be killed first to end up on your plate after. Vegetarians are crazy. Fish, plant or animal, it all needed to be killed in order for you to eat it, in other words: for you to live, you need to kill.

To act any differently would be crazy. Likewise, one cannot see a 'shocking' movie like "Traces of Death" without wanting or expecting to be shocked: you will be and you shall be, whether you expected this meat on your plate or not.

But this is not a culinary television program: it is a reality lesson at the school of life. We all die someday (unless Elon Musk or Bill Gates come up with the immortality serum): why behave like hypocrites??? We should be grateful doctors know how to handle our bodies when they need to, and it us logic just the same that they need enough experience on the field concerning this issue -thanks to animals and human corpses-.

It is this kind of imagery you get to see in these movies, and it is true, they do steal and copy from one another... executions, autopsies, animal attacks, animal torture, ... All these sorta things are awaiting the viewer in the "Traces of Death"-series, far out the most perfect Mondo movies around, for it all is real stuff inside, no scenery here, from successful suicide attempts to the ones who tried and failed but now need to live carrying the consequences of their all too often foolish behaviors. An interesting character study to a somewhat morbid main theme of the film: death, uncensored.
