First Impressions
29 April 2020
He's a very rare sort of bear. This is The Adventures of Paddington, first impressions.

The Adventures of Paddington is the latest installment in the long running Paddington Bear franchise, drawing inspiration from the live-action movies specifically.

Now, even though, Paddington can be enjoyed by everyone of all ages, for some reason this show airs on Nick Jr, which I find strange because Paddington was never for preschoolers, and its scope and depth goes way beyond your typical modern Nick Jr show.

This show is very smart, has a deep cast of characters, and important lessons for kids to learn, meaning that for once, it's actually educational. Wow! I really do mean it when I say that.

Also, let's talk about the animation. I love the animation. It's CGI, but it resembles stop-motion, which is a perfect fit for the show's gentle, relaxing, wholesome tone.

Overall, with this show, Butterbean's Cafe, Blue's Clues and You, and Corn and Peg, and the revival season of Bubble Guppies being a major improvement, I'd say Nick Jr is on the track to success once more.
