6/10
Lovely movie, visually stunning, unnecessary Hollywood fluff towards the end weakened it.

Warning: Spoilers
This was a nice Sunday afternoon watch. The plot was not very plausible, but suspending belief, the isolation and barren landscape was filmed exquisitely and the director would do well sticking to documentaries. I enjoyed the movie even when the story line failed with unbelievable details like how she fires a rifle, drives the snowmobile (where did the fuel come from), etc. But started to lose interest towards the end when the younger girl got on the radio and the older sister didn't grab it and speak to the listening station. The second polar bear scene and the fall through the ice were pointless and weakened the movie as did the sappy ending.
