This film is a spectacular sight, it has a bunch of brilliant actors in it and some funny ideas and it's quite magical, but it does not come even close to living up to the legacy of the first film. It is extremely boring at times, despite the efforts that the movie takes to make sure you are having a magical time and enjoying it, because that is what Mary Poppins is, magical and unforgettable. This film is still certainly enjoyable, there are some scenes that had me smiling mainly because of the star filled cast, and their almost over the top performances for a film that isn't worth going over the top for. I think the film is worth seeing because of all the big celebrities in it, and the ending is kinda alright. The musical scenes, and there are a lot of them, drag on a lot and don't really make a lot of sense, but maybe that's just me because I am not a huge Mary Poppins fan, and you must know a least a little about the first film to understand this one. Mary Poppins Returns is, disappointing, but also quite weird in a good way but it will certainly have you not disappointed that you sat down to watch it. It's an alright film, just not excellent.
