Like Father (2018)
7/10
A realistic, down to earth, dram-com, and its worth a watch!

The story carries well from start to finish, with interesting small turns every now and then. Although I do enjoy a Kristen Bell movie as much as the next, Kelsey Grammer does seem to carry this movie throughout. Kristen superbly doing well in the subjectively supporting role, as it seems the movie is engaging more in Kelsey's character and his side of the relationship then Bells, even though the movie is based around her.

The premise is solid, as it takes us through a more down to earth, less traditional father daughter relationship, which made for witty and suspenseful moments throughout the movie, as their new'er relationship starts to unfold.

I rated this movie a 7/10. Although the movie carries well, I was hoping for a bit more "intense" drama inside this somewhat comedic blend, and even could have used a bit more "next level" comedy, as Seth Rogans character is a welcomed addition in all his scenes. There are a few scenes that get there on the drama front, but throughout the movie there always feels like there is an "out" as there isn't any stakes or push to escalate the drama or suspense; well aside from Kelsey's mysterious phone calls .....

I always say every movie deserves a watch, and this movie is no different. I may never watch this movie again, but I am sure happy I have seen it.

My girlfriend and I watched it together, and she gave it a 8/10 :)
