A great premises but nothing to back it up

So this has a great premises of a world made of fragmented memories. How does this work? It's a bit like, err... when you tune in a radio and get between stations... err yeah. Well, now that is all sorted we can move on.

The action sequences are like more interesting but cheaper sequences from the movie "Inception". There is some really exciting, quirky things that go on that will put you on the edge of your seat.

So why is this all going on? Well there is a thing and we need to get to err... Yeah we have to avoid the black ghost things that float around.. but you can sort of forget about them... sort of... Oh and we need to build a magic city! How do we do that? Err it just appears. So call it a day then? No, we have to have a fight to the death for some reason. oh, err, cool?

Nothing really makes sense. Beyond being pricks, we never learn much about the main characters as they bumble around using their special powers. What little bits of story there are seem quite pointless and I didn't ever care who lived or died. The big revelation near the end is going to be as dumb as you expect.
