Ten minutes into this i wanted out. robert taylor at this point in his career was a turrible actor...and you can pretty much lay that at the feet of the director who cared more about whether there were flowers in the shot than the actual acting.
Miss shearer had unfortunately lost her looks, and its just embarassing to see her pretending to be some raving beauty men fall in love with after one glance. Robert Taylor's makeup looks like it was plastered on his face and hair.
but the idiotic dialogue...ok if you ant say anything nice, have another beer
